A Winning Weekend

The RHC Ladies XI put on a fine display away at Bloxwich on Sunday morning to win their semi-final in style (5-1) and will head to the Tier 3 National Final at Lee Valley on 5th May where they will face Reading Rockets. There were goals for Hannah Davey (2), Claudia Swain, Miranda Jackson and Hermione Wright and Ladies XI debuts for Daisy Collins and Kelsey Pearce. It was the last Ladies match for Rosario who heads home to Argentina this week and we wish her a fond farewell and many thanks for all her efforts for the club both as a player and a coach for the second half of the season.
Our U18 Girls were in action at home on Sunday in a tense semi-final match against visiting Sevenoaks. A 1-1 scoreline at half time spurred the girls into action in the second half and they took victory with a 5-3 scoreline, a hat-trick for Hannah and goals for Alice and Georgie! This sees the girls through to the T2 National Final at Lee Valley on 12th May where they will play Team Bath Buccaneers in what looks set to be a great match based on results to date.
Special mention and huge thanks to the five girls (and their taxi driver parents!!) who played in Bloxwich in the morning for the Ladies XI then raced back to Repton for the U18 Girls semi-final - a real testament to their club commitment - thank you Alice, Hannah, Georgie, Anna and Katie!
