Back 2 Hockey Interclub Fixture

On a beautiful, sunny Thursday evening over 20 of our B2H members came down to Repton Astros for an interclub B2H fixture. With Cleggy's XI versus Jonesy's XI this was a highly entertaining mixed match played in great spirits. Some of the players had joined Repton HC back in September and come down to the B2H sessions through the dark, cold winter evenings to improve their hockey skills. It was a testament to the great coaching that the players have received through the season that they were able to really enjoy a competitive match and prove how worthwhile the Back 2 Hockey initiative is. B2H Player of the match and inaugural recipient of the B2H zebra was Rachel!
Huge thanks to Non for organising the occasion and to our coaches and umpires Jonesy and Cleggy. The evening was rounded off with a trip to our sponsors, The Bulls Head, for beers and pizzas in the garden.
Back 2 Hockey continues on Thursday evenings at Repton Astros from 8pm-9pm and all are welcome!
