The countdown is on to Repton HC's third season and, as the club continues to expand and develop, we are launching some exciting initiatives and welcoming new players and coaches in what looks set to be an exciting season ahead!

Our Mens XI will play in the East Mids Premier League this season and we welcome lots of new, talented players including Simon Claris (ex Junior International and PC expert), Martin Asborno from Argentina, Matthew Bellin (U18s England), James Johnson and James Byrne. The Ladies 1s move into the Midlands Leagues and we are delighted to welcome new players including Emma Thornbury, Nat Mansfield, Sofia Pan Oyhamburu from Argentina, Amy Benn and Hannah Cochran from Australia to the team. The club launches a Ladies 2s team into Derbyshire Division 1 giving further match opportunities for our youngsters, B2H and developing players over the coming season.

The Club have launched a Hockey Performance Support initiative this season offering Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy and Sports Psychology services on site to our members  - further details on the website http://www.reptonhockeyclub.com/performance_support_services

Building on the past two season's success our Indoor Hockey program will be expanded in 2018/19 with the introduction of adult indoor teams (as well as our U16s and U18s) into the Super 6s leagues. Weekly training will start for juniors and adults early in the season as we look to draw on our indoor coaching strength and club facilities to make an immediate impact on the adult indoor leagues.

The Junior membership is looking strong for the coming season with good sized squads across all age groups. We expand our Sunday morning training to now include Under 8s and have entered all our relevant age group squads in to the England Hockey Tier 1 Junior Championships which start in October. Watch out for emails from team managers with further information on friendly and competitive fixtures over the coming months and all training / match dates can be found on the events calendar https://reptonhc.clubbuzz.co.uk/members/calendar/2018/8. Our coaching base has expanded for 2018/19 with international expertise from Ireland, Australia and Argentina and we look forward to welcoming all our new coaches to the club and the village as they arrive over the coming weeks.
