Ladies march on to the semi-finals of the Cup

Our Ladies XI cruised to the semi-finals of the EH Tier 3 Championship in style with a 10-0 win away at Formby HC this Sunday. With five different scorers and four for Georgie Brownhill the girls put in a great performance in arctic conditions and will be hoping for warmer temperatures for the semi-finals on April 8th - details to be confirmed once the draw is known.
The Ladies XI also secured a convincing league victory in their Saturday home fixture vs Matlock with another clean sheet and 15 goals scored. The Mens XI braved the freezing conditions at Ashby HC for their latest league fixture. With the score 0-1 at half time the team had to work hard in the second half to fight back and secure a 3-1 victory with two goals for Jonesy and one for Callan.
