The adult leagues get underway...

After an impressive pre-season campaign for our Mens and Ladies teams this weekend sees the start of the 2018/19 League season.
Our BMW Ladies 2s take on Staveley HC away at 10am in Derbyshire Division 1 with our BMW Ladies 1s at home at 5pm against Loughborough Town 1s in the Midlands Feeder East division. Our Bulls Head Mens XI travel down to Rugby & East Warwickshire for a 12pm pushback in the new open league structure which places our men in the Tier 2 East Midlands Premier division.
All teams will be looking to push for promotion this season whilst continuing to expose as many of our junior members as possible to competitive adult hockey. Wishing our adult teams good luck for the season ahead!
Its also a busy weekend for our juniors with our Frederick Cooper U14 boys hosting Belper HC at home this Friday evening in their first friendly fixture of 2018/19. Our SCC U14 girls will make the long trip down to Surbiton HC on Sunday for what should be two worthwhile matches for them against a talented Surbiton U14 girls squad.
U8s, U10s and U12s continue with their regular Sunday morning training session down on the Repton astros.
