Weekend Round Up

Our BMW Stratstone Ladies XI had a busy weekend with a League Fixture against Matlock 2s (8-0 win) on Saturday and their first round EH Championship Tier 3 match against Lymm HC (7-1 win) on Sunday. Highlights include Georgie Brownhill's hat-trick on Saturday followed by a hat-trick for Hannah Davey on Sunday! Over 40 players have now had exposure to our Ladies hockey programme and we look forward to continued success in the League and an exciting Championship run with Round 2 scheduled for 10th December.
Our Bulls Head Mens XI had a tougher League match this week resulting in a 3-3 draw against North Notts in the East Midlands Premier Division. Goals for Aaron Hibell, Charlie Collins and Martin Jones leave Aaron sitting top of the Goal Scorers table for the League with 9 goals for the season.
On Sunday morning our U10s and U8s had a tournament away at Lichfield HC in their first ever matches for Repton Hockey Club! With two girls teams and one boys team entered it was a fantastic way to put into practise all the skills the players have learned over the past six weeks of training. Our boys had two draws and a win, U8 girls two 0-0 draws and our U10 girls two losses and a draw. It was great to see all our players in their brand new kit and many thanks to Lichfield HC for hosting as well as our coaches and parents for all their help and organisation! We look forward to a return to Lichfield HC on Sunday 12th Nov for more matches...
