Midlands Club Super 6s Regional Rounds
The U16s and U18s girls headed off to Aldersley in Wolverhampton to compete in the Midlands Super 6s competition on Sunday 11th December under the watchful eyes of Head Coach Jonesy and Laney. Both teams acquitted themselves brilliantly throughout the day and were a huge credit to the club in its first Regional finals.
The Under 16s did not lose a match throughout the tournament and sealed their victory as Midlands Champions with a closely fought 1-0 win against Stourport HC in their final game. They made club history winning Repton HC's first piece of silverware and will go on to represent the club at the Super 6's National Finals at Aldersley on 21st/22nd January - a huge well done girls!
The Under 18s also had a superb day, growing in confidence with each match, and narrowly missed out on qualification for Nationals, coming third in the competition in a very competitive tournament.
Thank you to all the players, coaches, parents and supporters for such a successful day!

Training plan this week.
This week the only training will be for the boys’ indoor teams as they prepare for the Midlands Super 6s competition on Sunday at Aldersley.
Indoor training times for Tuesday 13th December:
- U16s boys - 6.05pm to 7.30pm
- U18s boys - 7.30pm to 9.00pm

Social Membership
We have received some questions regarding social membership recently. Social membership or "non-playing" membership is designed to allow people who are not players to support, help and have a say in how the club is run. We were pleased to host our first social members' Christmas gathering at the Bulls Head in Repton this Sunday . A big thank you to the Bulls Head, who also sponsor two of the boys teams, and provided a steady supply of pizzas throughout the evening for all those who attended.
